There is a tourist information center located right outside Tokoname Station. Sightseeing brochures and information maps are available there. Please visit the center if you come to Meitetsu Tokoname Station. The center also has Gallery Cera in which pottery art pieces are exhibited and the Shop Section.

Central Japan International Airport Centrair

Central Japan International Airport is an international airport located on an artificial island on the sea of Ise Bay off the coast of Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, which serves as a hub airport designated by Paragraph 1 of the Article 4 of the Airport Law. Its nickname is Centrair and is sometimes abbreviated as Chubu Airport or Chubu. It is indicated as Nagoya in the timetables and departure/arrival information.

Tokoname Ware

Tokoname Ware is counted as one of the Six Old Kilns of Japan (other five kilns are Seto, Echizen, Shigaraki, Tanba, and Bizen) and the oldest and largest among the kilns.

Pottery Footpath
This footpath is located on a low hill in the central urban area. The start point is Ceramic Hall, situated about a 5-10 minute walk away from Tokoname Station. Please enjoy strolling the maze-like alleys with a brochure obtained there.
